An illegal immigrant from Venezuela faces a third-degree felony charge after allegedly backing an SUV over an 82-year-old grandmother in a Panama City Beach grocery store parking lot, and his defense attorney calls it "simply an unfortunate incident." Deborah Murphy was walking through a crosswalk outside a Publix on May 17 when Carlos Suarez-Contreras, 26, reversed a Toyota 4Runner into her, according to a Florida Highway Patrol arrest affidavit. The vehicle pushed Murphy to the ground and kept rolling backward, running over her. She was taken to a hospital, where she died from her injuries.
