Federal investigators are building a case around years of text messages between Hayden Panettiere and an unnamed drug dealer, a trail of evidence that points to the black market pill trade fueling the fentanyl crisis that took the 36-year-old actress's life. The Drug Enforcement Administration's probe into Panettiere's Aug. 16 death now centers on what one source called "a slew of messages about drugs" recovered from communications between the "Heroes" and "Nashville" star and her alleged long-term supplier.
