Lindsay Clancy’s attorney, Kevin Reddington, spoke with CNN’s Anderson Cooper and praised Clancy’s husband Patrick for standing by his client.
Lawyers for Lindsay Clancy’s ex-husband, Patrick Clancy, issued a statement saying they will take legal action to stop the barrage of online conspiracy theorists who suggest he played a role in the deaths of his three children. CNN’s Kara Scannell reports.
“Enough is enough — this spread of blatant and baseless falsehoods must stop," said lawyer Howard Cooper.
Clancy testified in the trial of his ex-wife, Lindsay Clancy.
The case drew national attention, especially on social media platforms, where many women voiced support for Lindsey Clancy and promoted conspiracy theories claiming Patrick had either committed the killings or manipulated his then-wife into committing them.
Prosecutors have not yet determined whether the case will be retried
