Secretary of State Marco Rubio had barely started delivering his opening statement to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee when the first protester piped up — and was promptly escorted out of the room. “You know the drill, off to jail. That’s a one-year ban from the committee,” Sen. Jim Risch (R-Idaho), the committee chair, told the protester. He had earlier warned that repeat offenders would be banned for three years from the committee’s hearings.
