The government must return about $160 billion, plus interest, collected from duties deemed illegal and potentially more if it loses a related tariff case.
Tariff refunds will start going back to businesses on Tuesday, May 11, officials said.
“A negative ruling on Birthright Citizenship, on top of the recent Supreme Court Tariff catastrophe, is not Economically sustainable for the United States of America!” he wrote.
