Ron Duguay, the 69-year-old former New York Rangers fan favorite battling Stage 4 colon cancer, was rushed to a hospital Friday after fainting at home and suffering severe facial injuries, a frightening setback his family says stems from complications in his liver. Duguay's daughter Shay Thomas broke the news on Instagram, sharing a video of her father being loaded into an ambulance and describing a cascade of medical problems uncovered after he was admitted. He had been found unconscious at his home on July 24, his face bloodied and several teeth knocked out from the fall.
