A new study published in the Brazilian Journal of Plastic Surgery found that both men and women overwhelmingly preferred symmetrical, proportional breasts over larger ones, a finding researchers say should guide cosmetic surgeons away from the "bigger is better" assumption. Researchers at the University of Passo Fundo in Brazil showed 239 university students a series of images depicting different breast shapes, defined by the ratio of tissue distributed between the upper and lower halves.
