In February, during his State of the Union address, President Donald Trump put Vice President JD Vance in charge of a task force to eliminate fraud.
Vice President Vance will speak with a group of state attorneys general Tuesday afternoon as part of a roundtable focused on the Trump administration's anti-fraud efforts. President Trump said last month that Vance's new role as "fraud czar" will mainly focus on blue-run states, including Minnesota, who is currently under investigation over allegations of fraud within its social services programs. The Department of Labor and its Office of Inspector General also recently announced a new partnership following Trump's executive order that established a task force on the issue. Vance will also be joined by the Federal Trade Commission Chair Andrew Ferguson. #jdvance #trump #antifraud
Much of the fraud concerns stem from the state of Minnesota, which NewsNation has reported on for months.
Rep. Brandon Gill, R-Texas, will chair the task force.
The Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias concluded that the Biden administration pursued policies and prosecutions that were biased against Christians.
