The *Outlander* prequel *Blood of My Blood* launches its second season on Starz this Friday, picking up exactly where Season 1 left off, with Jamie Fraser's parents separated by the Jacobite Uprisings in 18th-century Scotland. Harriet Slater and Jamie Roy, who play Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser, told UPI in a Zoom interview that Season 2 wastes no time plunging the couple back into conflict. The pair had barely escaped together at the end of the first season before the fiery crosses, the traditional Scottish call to arms, forced them apart again.
