Michigan Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate, Abdul El-Sayed, had Piker campaign for him in the primary, and Piker's controversial comments have been the basis for Republican attacks on El-Sayed.
The Hill/Emerson College Polling survey found 47 percent of state voters supported Talarico, while 46 percent backed Paxton in this race.
The public petition comes after other Michigan Jews registered their discontent with Abdul El-Sayed, the state’s Democratic Senate nominee.
