Escorted by Israeli soldiers, a far-right Israeli lawmaker smashed a memorial in a Palestinian village in the occupied West Bank. The military said Zvi Sukkot violated the approved plan for the trip, but the firebrand politician had vowed one week before to destroy the memorial.
