Flight BA919, inbound from Dusseldorf, was descending through roughly 4,000 feet above Canary Wharf on July 6 when one of the aircraft's air data systems failed. The plane stalled, meaning its wings lost the lift needed to stay airborne. The first officer tried to recover the aircraft and could not.
