Jared Huffman, D-CA, joins Morning Joe to discuss his new book: “No Prophets: The Fight to Save Democracy from Christian Nationalism.” Huffman, a former devout Christian, tells Joe he wrote the book to “expose” what he calls the country’s “most dangerous political movement.” From behind the scenes of the Capitol, he explores in the book the strategy Christian nationalists use to push their agenda. Christian nationalism, Huffman says, “erupted for all of us to see,” during the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. But in the years since, Huffman says Congress has failed to confront the movement.
