A potential hurricane along the Gulf Coast is looming on the same weekend as the massive college football game between Georgia and Alabama. The two teams, both ranked in the top 10 of the AP Poll, are set to face off Saturday night in Tuscaloosa. According to the National Weather Service, Tropical Depression Nine is forecast to "intensify into a hurricane over the next 48 to 72 hours.” It adds that most impacts to Central Alabama will be felt in the form of gusty winds and steady rainfall Friday into Saturday.
