Three unidentified people emerged from a Manhattan sewer before dawn on one of the city's most exclusive blocks, the latest in a string of bizarre underground intrusions that the NYPD has yet to explain or stop. Officers responded to a 911 call about a possible crime near 535 Park Avenue at East 61st Street on Manhattan's Upper East Side at roughly 4:35 a.m. Wednesday. When they arrived, the three individuals had already climbed out of the sewer and fled northbound on Park Avenue in two vehicles, a silver sedan driven by a white man in a black hoodie, and a second four-door car driven by a man in a black shirt and gray shorts. NYPD surveillance cameras captured the incident , but no arrests have been made. The investigation remains open.…Open
