What was the defense provided by the park's attorneys regarding the injuries sustained on the X2 coaster?
Park attorneys argued that the forces of the ride are not strong enough to cause brain injury in a "normal" rider if the ride is used "as instructed," and in at least one instance, they argued the injury stemmed from the rider's own negligence. They also pointed to warning signs regarding "inherent risks," regular testing, and industry safety rules.
