The widow of conservative activist Charlie Kirk joined the academy’s 16-member Board of Visitors after being appointed by President Donald Trump.
It was not immediately clear when Erika Kirk was appointed to the 16-member board because the president and the academy's board did not announce it, but her name is listed as one of the members on the school's website.
The White House and Air Force Academy didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment as to when she was appointed.
