A 49-year-old man and his adult son now face a federal grand jury indictment, and the father faces new charges, after allegedly kidnapping two U.S. Forest Service employees at gunpoint in a remote Northern California forest. Joseph Charles Henrichsen and his son Phoenix Henrichsen, 23, were indicted on two counts each of kidnapping a federal employee in connection with a July 16 standoff at a trailer near Gumboot Lake in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, roughly 150 miles north of Sacramento.
