British actor Noel Clarke, best known for his role on Doctor Who, has been charged with sexual assault, voyeurism, and exposure following a police investigation that included a raid on his home, charges that came after more than 20 women accused him of abuse. The Crown Prosecution Service announced it had gathered sufficient evidence to bring multiple sex-related charges against the 50-year-old actor, writer, and director. Clarke played Mickey Smith, the Doctor's companion, on the long-running BBC series from 2005 to 2010.
