British actor Noel Clarke, best known for playing Mickey Smith on Doctor Who, has been charged with multiple sex-related offenses including sexual assault, voyeurism, and exposure, capping a police investigation that began more than a year ago and a pattern of accusations stretching back years. The Crown Prosecution Service announced it had levied the charges against the 50-year-old actor and filmmaker after determining sufficient evidence existed to bring the case to court. Clarke had been initially arrested during the investigation and released, but formal charges have now been filed , and his next court appearance is scheduled for October 21.
