Eleven-year-old Brexton Busch earned his first racing victory since the death of his father, NASCAR star Kyle Busch, then climbed atop his car and replicated his dad's famous bow, a moment that moved the racing world. Brexton started 14th on the grid in the restricted micro sprint A-Main at Port City Raceway in Oklahoma on Saturday night. He survived a major opening-lap wreck, fought his way through the field, and reached Victory Lane roughly eight weeks after losing his father. Kyle Busch died in May at age 41 after contracting pneumonia that developed into sepsis .
