The SEC is weighing LSU’s conference membership as a federal court fight over players with NFL experience threatens a founding member’s place. The SEC’s school presidents and chancellors will meet Thursday to discuss whether LSU should remain in the conference. The dispute centers on a league rule that bars teams from returning players with NFL experience to their rosters. LSU piled up 644 total yards of offense, rushed for 309 yards on 58 carries, and held Clemson to fewer than 100 total yards in a game that was never competitive after the opening minutes.
