Even a $100K H1B fee isn’t enough. Employers save 30% in wages and keep workers for decades through green cards. Make hiring a foreign worker more expensive than hiring an American.

New NBER study by George Borjas shows H1Bs are paid 16% less overall, 30% less for software developers. Even a $100K fee gets paid back in 4 years. Pure profit after that. This is not sustainable.
