A small aircraft went down near Chandler Airport in Arizona Tuesday evening, killing the sole person on board, and authorities have yet to identify the pilot or explain what caused the crash. Chandler Fire Department crews responded to a 911 call reporting a downed aircraft near McQueen and Queen Creek roads, just outside the airport in the Phoenix suburb. ABC News reported that responders worked with the Chandler Airport control tower to pinpoint the crash site, where they found a single aircraft with one occupant who had died.
