NOTUS reports the Trump administration is looking to hand a small part of Yosemite National Park to private real estate developer Kingsbarn Realty Capital as part of a "land exchange." The company plans to build development just outside Yosemite and needs a road through the park to access it.

It’s part of a broader rollback of protections covering more than 86 million acres of public land. Meanwhile, inside Grand Teton National Park, the Park Service is being ordered to approve a paved pathway it once rejected because it found it would harm wildlife. Former Park Service Superintendent Joan Anzelmo warns, “National parks are a birthright to all Americans, and they are treasured by the world– and once they are gone, they are gone.”
