Raja Azreen Raja Talib, a 56-year-old Malaysian drummer with a history of heart problems, collapsed over his drum kit during a live performance and was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital, the latest in a string of health emergencies striking aging rock musicians onstage. Raja Azreen went down during Meditasi's second song at the Teruntum Rock Festival in Malaysia. His bandmate and frontman, Bakaruddin Daud, known by his stage name "Burn", saw the drummer slump forward and ran to him. By the time Burn reached him, it was already too late. Paramedics rushed Raja Azreen to Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital, where staff gave him respiratory assistance. Doctors pronounced him dead. The cause: heart complications.
