The Army will cut thousands of permanent change of station relocations this year in a move aimed at providing more stability to families and unit formations.
Now that peak permanent change of station season is underway, the Personal Property Activity is providing tips and operating a 24/7 call center until Sept. 15 to ensure support is available for service members and their families preparing for a PCS.
The War Department Personal Property Activity marked a significant milestone: moving from a Permanent Change of Station Joint Task Force to becoming a permanent organization dedicated to supporting military personnel, DOW civilians and their families through PCS moves.
