Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin said that ICE agents could be at polling locations this November to quote, “enforce specific threats.” In a statement, DHS insisted that ICE is not planning operations targeting polling locations, but they could be at a polling site if ‘an active public safety threat endangered a polling location.’ This as a whistleblower has come forward alleging the U.S. Postal Service is secretly working to carry out President Trump’s controversial plan to exert control over mail-in voting, despite a court order blocking key parts of that effort.
