A magnitude 7.7 earthquake has killed at least 68 people on Indonesia's Flores island and displaced roughly 5,000 more, and days later, thousands were still waiting for food, water, and medicine as the country marked its Independence Day. The quake struck East Nusa Tenggara province shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday at a shallow depth of just 10 kilometers, about six miles, sending residents into the streets in panic and triggering tsunami warnings that were later lifted.
