A cargo ship undergoing repairs at one of China's busiest ports caught fire on Thursday, killing 25 of the 42 people aboard, the latest in a string of deadly industrial disasters that have exposed persistent safety failures across the country. The blaze broke out around 11 a.m. local time aboard the Ocean Melody, a Liberian-flagged vessel docked at the Beihai Shipbuilding Co. facility in the port city of Qingdao, in eastern China's Shandong province.
