At least three separate incidents of people entering and exiting New York City's sewer system at night have baffled investigators and residents alike, and so far, not a single person has been arrested or identified. Around 4 a.m. on a Tuesday morning near Penn Station, a security camera captured three figures in overalls and headlamps pulling themselves out of a manhole at 32nd Street and Seventh Avenue, one of the busiest corridors in Manhattan. They climbed out, one after another, and ran. The NYPD confirmed it is investigating the incident.
