A second amphibious ready group joined U.S. Navy forces in the Middle East this week as President Donald Trump weighs military options.
Sailors and Marines assigned to the USS Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit supported Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands' civil and local authorities in their recovery efforts from Super Typhoon Sinlaku.
The USS Boxer Amphibious Ready Group includes the transport dock ship USS Portland and the dock landing ship USS Comstock.
