The strikes have targeted Qatar's natural gas production infrastructure, which will in turn affect world markets — not only for this energy resource, but also for a broad range of tech products, from consumer goods to MRI machines. Helium is used in the manufacture of these devices. A byproduct of natural gas production, helium is itself a major export from Qatar.
