Over the past week, President Trump more than once declared that the U.S. is in control of the Strait of Hormuz, a claim that Iran denies. On Friday, Trump made a much grander pronouncement, saying that the shipping chokepoint would "pretty soon" become "a territory of the United States," albeit in a tone that may have suggested a less than serious commitment. On Monday, Trump signed an executive order aimed at changing current practices for childhood vaccinations.
