New data shows that September 11, 2001, remains a vivid memory for many, but it is growing more distant for younger generations as the number of Americans who did not experience the day continues to rise. New polling from Pew Research Center shows that 60% of 18- to 24-year-olds report learning about the attacks in class or through schoolwork.
