"W: Portrait of a Presidency" chronicles the presidency of George W. Bush at the dawn of the new millennium, taking viewers inside one of the most consequential periods in modern American history. The film examines the Bush administration's response to the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, including the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as the domestic challenges that shaped his eight years in office. The documentary also revisits pivotal moments of the early 2000s, including Hurricane Katrina and the Great Recession, and explores the decisions, policies and controversies that defined Bush's presidency and shaped his legacy.
