The Business Roundtable is one of Washington's most influential associations and serves as the top policy voice of America's leading CEOs. Its membership consists of over 200 CEOs from the largest U.S.-based companies, most of which have a global reach.

Kristen Silverberg is a policy expert and former U.S. ambassador to the European Union from 2008 to 2009. She served as an assistant secretary of State under President George W. Bush and was a law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and Judge David Sentelle of the U.S. Court of Appeals. She is a graduate of Harvard College and the University of Texas School of Law.

Silverberg is succeeding Josh Bolten, a former White House chief of staff who has led the organization for the past decade, when he steps down on January 31.

The bipartisan Public First PAC reported approximately $494,000 cash on hand at the end of Q2; it is tied to the bipartisan 501(c)(4) nonprofit Public First Action and transferred $3.3 million to its affiliate, Jobs and Democracy PAC.
