According to new projections from Decision Desk HQ, Democrats are narrowly favored to take control of the Senate this fall. The latest forecast shows Democrats favored in several key battleground states, with North Carolina rated likely Democratic and Alaska, Maine, Ohio and Texas among the states currently rated toss-ups. Former Hardball host Chris Matthews joins Morning Joe to discuss the upcoming midterm elections, calling Trump “desperate” as the midterms approach and criticizing Trump’s use of the term “communists” to describe Democrats while pointing to the world leaders with whom the president gets along best.
