A Carnival cruise ship changed course in the Caribbean on August 26 to pull a lone sailor off a disabled vessel, the third such at-sea rescue involving a cruise liner in roughly three months. Carnival Conquest was heading toward St. George's, Grenada, when the ship received a distress relay from rescue authorities and diverted to locate a sailing vessel that could no longer move under its own power.
