Two people have been pulled alive from a hydropower tunnel in Nepal, more than a week after catastrophic floods at its border with China. The plant was unrecognizable from the disaster – rescuers had to use satellite pictures to find it below the mud. Sanjay Sah, 30, who is in stable condition, had to ask rescuers what date it was. He said he was trapped after helping others escape and kept his spirits up chanting Hindu mantras. Kabir Maharjan, 45 is critically ill. Both are being treated in hospital.
