AMERICANTHINKER - 'Good enough' isn't enough: Why a Nobel Laureate's 'satisficing' model breeds human stagnation

By Meda Parameswara Reddy In big global supply chains, small errors can compound.

AI:A critique of the "satisficing" model popularized by a Nobel laureate argues that settling for "good enough" solutions in complex systems, particularly within global supply chains, creates compounding errors and stifles human potential. America’s factories are delivering the clearest evidence yet that President Donald Trump’s America First economic agenda is making a major difference in restoring national prosperity. Production surged to 58.5, the strongest level since November 2021; new orders expanded for a seventh month; export orders returned to growth; and the employment gauge entered expansion for the first time in 33 months. BITCHUTE - Beijing Backroom | EP59 | The White House Podcast LIVE

Professor Penn hosts solo and opens the episode with a personal prayer for healing, using sickness, suffering, and faith to frame a larger reflection on human pain, trauma, and the need to “let go and let God.” He connects personal illness and intergenerational wounds to broader questions of survival, spiritual balance, and how people medicate pain through addiction, fear, and materialism. The episode then shifts into President Trump’s meeting in Beijing, using The Godfather as a metaphor for global power, backroom deals, and the way ordinary citizens are excluded from decisions made by political, financial, and tech elites. Penn draws on his own experience doing business in China to discuss Chinese history, Western imperialism,…

AXIOS (Colin Demarest) - Drills, deals and doubts in the Pacific as Trump visits China

The first half of May is foreshadowing the future of Indo-Pacific security. Why it matters: Long-term competition between the U.S., China and their friends — on AI, chips, cybersecurity, freedom of navigation, narrative influence, supply chains and more — is reshaping the world. In just two weeks: - The U.S. and Japan, participating in Balikatan drills, fired a Tomahawk missile with a Typhon launcher and ship-sinking Type 88 missiles from the Philippines — a first and, from Beijing's view, a provocation. - Japan inked a defense cooperation agreement with Indonesia, hot on the heels of loosened arms-exporting restrictions. - Taiwan's legislature approved $25 billion in special funding to buy weapons. The move follows months of…

Domestically, attention shifts to political violence and a Minnesota Senate decision allowing children on the Senate floor, raising questions about safety and political messaging. The conversation expands into critiques of media narratives, political leadership,…
