Airport wait times have increased nationwide as spring break travel continues amid the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) shutdown and as winter storms in the Midwest and Northeast this week have caused delays. As of Wednesday, three Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoints are closed at Philadelphia International Airport. Two checkpoints at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston are also shuttered, with wait times at open checkpoints ranging from three to 90 minutes.
