A deadly nor'easter is currently weakening as it slowly moves away from the East Coast, leaving behind widespread coastal flooding, at least one reported death and massive utility outages. The storm brought hurricane-strength wind gusts of more than 70 mph in parts of New Jersey and knocked out electricity for more than 100,000 customers in the region. Tidal surges and torrential rain swamped low-lying coastal communities from the Mid-Atlantic to New England. The nor'easter has also disrupted travel, with thousands of flights delayed and canceled nationwide.
