The image dates back to August 20, 2023, when NASA's Curiosity rover snapped several photos of the Martian surface around 6:27 p.m. ET. In one panoramic shot, a small object sits in the left corner of the frame, something that appears to have a body with two small legs , set against a dusty landscape of rocky hills.
