Construction workers were inside 235 East 42nd Street, the former Pfizer global headquarters near Grand Central Terminal, when the columns on the 21st floor gave way. Floors 21 through 26 sagged and caved under the stress. The New York City Fire Department arrived and confirmed the buckled columns.
