East Palestine residents participating in a class-action settlement say lawyers suppressed their expert’s environmental report to convince them to take the money.
Evacuation orders remained in place for more than 40,000 residents around Garden Grove, Calif., the location of an industrial site containing an unstable tank of toxic chemical.
Authorities said the tank was leaking methyl methacrylate, a volatile and flammable liquid used to make acrylic plastics.
