An independent autopsy commissioned by the family of Nolan Wells, the Mississippi teen found dead after a Fourth of July outing on Horn Island, returned no definitive cause or manner of death, and the questions surrounding his final hours keep multiplying. Attorney Ben Crump announced the results at a press conference Wednesday, saying the examination by Dr. Roger Mitchell, a former Washington, D.C., chief medical examiner, listed both the cause and manner of Wells' death as undetermined pending further investigation. The 18-year-old's body was in a state of decomposition when Mitchell received it for the July 10 autopsy, and the state medical examiner had already retained pieces of Wells' throat from its own examination days earlier. A combined 49 percent said they were either "not very confident" or "not confident at all," and 26 percent were unsure. The…Open

A five-month independent review of the Gates Foundation's ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein found that Bill Gates ignored repeated employee warnings to stay away, and the review never even examined his personal emails. Law firm WilmerHale, hired by the foundation itself, interviewed more than 50 current and former staffers and concluded that Gates and his team held roughly 30 meetings with Epstein between 2011 and 2014. Foundation employees flagged the reputational danger of associating with a man who had pleaded guilty to soliciting prostitution from a minor in Florida. Those concerns, the review's executive summary states, "were raised to senior leadership, including Mr. Gates." He kept the meetings going anyway. The…Open

FBI Director Kash Patel says local authorities in Tucson kept his agents sidelined for four days after Nancy Guthrie's abduction, a delay that may have destroyed doorbell camera footage central to finding her. Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of "Today" co-host Savannah Guthrie, was taken from her Tucson, Arizona, home in the early hours of February 1. Blood was found on her front porch. Her Nest doorbell camera, the device most likely to have captured her abductor, was physically removed from the house. And the Pima County Sheriff's Department did not request FBI assistance for four days, Patel told Fox News Digital in an exclusive interview. By the time federal agents arrived, the crime scene had already been released. People had been…Open
