Tropical Storm Dolly weakened into an open tropical wave, according to the National Hurricane Center’s latest advisory. Dolly remained a tropical storm in the Atlantic for approximately 24 hours before dissipating. FOX Weather’s Kiyana Lewis joined LiveNOW’s Anna Marsick to provide an update on Dolly. DOLLY FORECAST: The system's heavy rainfall could start reaching the Leeward Islands by late Saturday or Sunday. Some long-range models show the chance of remnants of Dolly regenerating north of the islands. While the odds are low, there is no consensus on what might develop or where it might go.

Tropical Storm Cristobal formed in the open Atlantic on Wednesday morning and is already forecast to fall apart by evening, but a more consequential system, Invest 92L, is organizing behind it with a high chance of becoming a tropical depression within days. The National Hurricane Center gave Invest 92L high-range odds of developing into at least a tropical depression over the next two days, a designation that puts the system on a faster track than Cristobal ever managed.
