The letter, dated October 20, 1995, roughly a year and a half after the Nirvana frontman was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head in the greenhouse of their Seattle mansion, was written by attorney Bryan Coluccio and addressed to then-Seattle Police Chief Norm Stamper.
